The force feedback on this little pad actually pushes back when you fight the wheel, which I didn't expect from something that fits in my hands. I've been playing rally games on my couch instead of hauling out a full rig, and the mini direct drive wheel is genuinely fun to wrestle with.
I was skeptical a wheel could fit on a gamepad, but the miniature Direct Drive unit in the face gives real, tangible resistance that makes tight corners feel properly twitchy. It's perfect for my cramped desk setup where a full rig was never an option, and it genuinely changes how I play racing game
The little direct drive wheel in the face of this thing genuinely surprised me — you can feel the tires losing grip through your thumbs, which I didn't expect from a gamepad. Played three hours of rally last night and never once wished I had my old wheel stand set up.
